Often when I walk into the Clicks pharmacy opposite the fruit & vegetable market in Kerk Street I’m followed by the call of a homeless man to please buy him a roll-on or a bar of Sunlight soap.
So when a young man caught up with me on my way back from the market this morning that was the kind of question I was expecting.
Instead, he gave me a huge smile and said: “I really like what you’re wearing ma’am, you look good!”. As he skipped along joyfully, I realised that today the Sunlight was for me.
