Observing kindness in action at 7am at a busy Joburg CBD intersection with the traffic lights out of order:
A young man bravely guides small groups of school children and their heavy backpacks across the road.
Somehow the frantic city traffic, that tends to ignore pedestrians, responds to his gentle signing and assists in their safe crossing.
It gave a special shine to my day.
