Our Digital Skills Coaches facilitate the implementation of online teaching plans and EdTech solutions with a blended learning approach of small-group or individual face-to-face training, online video consultations and ongoing WhatsApp support.
We support a wide variety of free and commercial digital education solutions and resources including Microsoft and Google for Education, Siyavula, Vodacom e-School, Cambridge University Press and many others.
Our Coaches are recently graduated teachers who specialise in ICT in Education in addition to their various other majors that include the STEM-subjects, English, isiZulu and Business Studies. They combine teaching and digital skills to facilitate and advise on digital tools and training and understand the role of a teacher when integrating technology in teaching and learning.
Flying Cows of Jozi is managed by EdTech veteran Josine Overdevest based on her philosophy of people-centred technology integration. Our aim is to design multi-partner sustainable solutions to integrate 21st century skills in South African education and develop the change agent potential of high-performing young teachers to assist with the implementation of these solutions.
